StarLyte Sound Launches Advanced, One-Stop Sync Licensing Process

StarLyte Sound debuts new music licensing process for audio-visual projects.

WAYNESBORO, Virginia — (VENTURE PAD) — StarLyte Sound, LLC, a one stop music publishing and licensing company, has announced the launch of its new and improved sync licensing process. The new Synchronization and Master Use Licensing Form consists of advanced algorithms that are designed to streamline the clearance process for businesses that require music licenses in the advertising and entertainment industries. The new model expresses transparency in pricing, and allows for businesses of all sizes to request a license with the comfort of knowing that their estimated costs are not based on compromising information such as project budget or the perceived status of the production companies, brands, or individuals involved.

“We’ve dedicated a large portion of 2021 toward developing and testing the algorithms that, we believe, will change the way licensing is conducted across the music business for years to come”, said Kelvin Stubblefield, Founder of StarLyte Sound. “We are aiming to make pricing more standardized and fair for projects of different sizes and types, while remaining open to negotiations when necessary. Imagine walking into a coffee shop and being charged more than the other customers for the same beverage with the same ingredients, just because the cashier knows you drive a fancy car. Asking the ‘what’s your budget?’ question before understanding the customer’s needs and giving an estimate, potentially leaves the customer vulnerable to being taken advantage of, if they are willing to pay more than the licensor initially anticipated. Our standardized pricing model, coupled with the adaptive nature of our form, allows for customers to license music with the comfort of knowing that they are not being priced on the fly based on compromising information.”

With StarLyte Sound’s new License Request Form, customers with estimates below the “cost visibility limit” are able to see an itemized estimate before they submit the request. Estimates that are above the limit, are expected to arrive at the user’s provided email within a matter of seconds and can be accessed using a unique code provided.

“Our goal is to make sure that our customers are happy with their licensing experience, and that the interested parties, which includes composers, are getting what they deserve from their hard work”, said Kelvin.

StarLyte Sound strives to achieve operational excellence and will continue to update the new licensing process to provide an exceptional licensing experience for its customers. Similar forms for other types of music licensing are currently in development.
